Costas Christoforou
IFATSEA Director Europe
Costas is a highly respected ATSEP professional, recognised not only within the European ATSEP community but also across the global aviation sector.
He has served as IFATSEA Director Europe since 2014, bringing dedication, perseverance and a clear vision to the work of the Federation. Over more than 35 years of active involvement in IFATSEA, he has played a key role in advancing the interests of ATSEP professionals and strengthening the Federation’s influence at both European and international level.
Through his work, Costas has built strong relationships and developed significant momentum across Europe, engaging closely with the European Commission, EASA, SESAR JU, EGHD and EUROCONTROL. For the past three years, he has also chaired the European Commission’s Expert Group on the Human Dimension - CEGHD.
He is particularly known for his unwavering support to IFATSEA member associations, providing extensive assistance to them when they are facing serious national challenges and helping them protect and strengthen the position of the ATSEP profession within their countries.
Costas has also led the annual organisation of the IFATSEA Euro-Conference, transforming it into an important platform for dialogue and cooperation between ATSEP professionals, European institutions and the wider aviation community.
Passionate about aviation and the ATSEP profession, Costas has been instrumental in raising the profile of ATSEP professionals worldwide.
Together with his team, he has contributed to the development of numerous position papers on major European and global issues affecting the ATSEP profession.
In addition to his representative role, he has been actively involved in aviation research, both as a researcher and as an evaluator of European research proposals related to the Single European Sky.

Davorin Primorac
Director – Bosnia and Herzegovina Air Navigation Services Agency (BHANSA)
Davorin Primorac is the Director of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Air Navigation Services Agency (BHANSA), a position he has held since 2015. With more than 20 years of experience in civil aviation, he has led the development and strengthening of air navigation services in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Prior to his current role, he held several positions within BHANSA, including Head of the Air Traffic Management Division, and served as a member of the BHANSA Supervisory Board for five years. Throughout his career, he has led and contributed to major strategic civil aviation projects, including the implementation of Free Route Airspace and the integration of Bosnia and Herzegovina into the European air traffic management network, which were recognised with the European Commission Single European Sky Awards in 2017 and 2019.
During his tenure, BHANSA assumed full responsibility for the provision of air navigation services in the upper airspace of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2019, marking a historic milestone for the country’s civil aviation and positioning BHANSA as a reliable service provider within the European aviation system.

Andreas Boschen
Executive Director - SESAR Joint Undertaking
Starting his professional career as a diplomat in Germany, Andreas Boschen joined the European Commission in 1998. Since 2003 he has been dealing with transport files and he held several notable positions in DG MOVE, including policy officer for the Single European Sky, policy officer for maritime safety and assistant to the Director-General of DG MOVE.
Between 2014 and 2022, Boschen led the department for the Connecting Europe Facility at the Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA), where he managed EU financial support to infrastructure projects in the areas of transport and energy.
On 1 July 2022, Andreas Boschen started as Executive Director of the SESAR Joint Undertaking

Dragan Petrović
Head of Air Navigation Section - ANS Inspector
Bosnia and Herzegovina Directorate of Civil Aviation
Dragan Petrović started his professional career in 1997 as a Research and Teaching Assistant, in the Faculty of Traffic and Transport Engineering, University of Belgrade, Serbia. During five years he was teaching the following subjects: Aircrafts, Flight Mechanics and Performance of Transport Aircrafts.
Between 2002 and 2008, he stepped out from aviation and engaged himself in construction business as general manager of a German-Bosnian construction company.
From June 2012, Dragan Petrović went back to aviation, starting as an expert for staff (ATS Inspector) in the licensing and certification of Air Traffic Services in the Bosnian and Herzegovinian Directorate of Civil Aviation. Here, he occupied different positions and from 2022 he became the Head of Air Navigation Section (ANS Inspector). He is a member of the EUROCONTROL PC, Enlarged Committee and NM Systems Evolution Task Force and he is also engaged in FAB CE bodies. In 2025 he was chairman of FAB CE Council, and in 2026 he is chairman of FAB CE NSA Coordination Committee.
He published several books, as author and coauthor and also published 11 scientific and technical papers and proceedings in the field of aircraft design, performance and applicability of AI in aviation.

Enrico Parini
CANSO’s Director Europe Affairs
Enrico Parini has been working in the ATM field for over 16 years. As Brussels representative for ENAV, the Italian Air Navigation Service Provider, and as Project Officer for EDA, the European Defence Agency, he has been involved in a wide range of technical, political and institutional ATM activities in his previous experiences. His knowledge of resilience comes not only from his professional past, but also from having survived 9 consecutive Brussels rainy and foggy seasons, also known as “years” in other parts of the world.

Tânia Cardoso Simões
Director Aviation Transformation, EUROCONTROL
Tânia leads the Aviation Transformation Directorate that is responsible for supporting European aviation and foster the pan-European implementation of the Single European Sky, focusing on the key areas of aviation research and innovation, aviation sustainability, data-driven aviation intelligence, and impartial and independent performance assessment.
Tania joined EUROCONTROL on 1 October 2024, as Director European Green Sky. She is a highly experienced aviation leader and strategic thinker. Her seven years (2016-2023) as first board member and then Chair of ANAC, the Portuguese Civil Aviation Authority, saw her steer the organisation through a series of complex challenges, guaranteeing safe and secure operations and in particular ensuring business continuity across the pandemic period. More recently, she has been working as a top advisor on strategic matters (spanning HRM, procurement, data protection and competition analysis) for the Board of AdC, the Portuguese Competition Authority, where she worked for 13 years as a competition expert prior to joining ANAC.
A trained lawyer with postgraduate degrees in law and economics from Paris-Sorbonne and King’s College London, and from Lisbon University (a graduate degree in law and a master’s in European law), Tânia can draw on extensive regulatory and operational aviation experience, with many years of coordinating on aviation transport policy and legislation with top management at partner institutions at the national, European and international level.

Gauthier Sturtzer
Chair of the ATM committee of the European Transport workers’ Federation, ETF
Gauthier Sturtzer is an Air Traffic Control Officer in Lille, northern France, working Tower and Approach since 2003. He has been involved in the trade union at European and international level since 2010, been a member of various EASA rulemaking group (Apron Management Services, Part Air Traffic Services, Remote tower) and in the ICAO WG on Remote Tower. He’s also a member of the Commission Expert Group on the Human Dimension of Single European Sky. Finally he has social dialogue at heart and is a founding member of the EU social dialogue taskforce established to discuss regulatory matters in ATM.

Frederik Rasmussen
the Deputy Head of Unit for the Single European Sky (Unit E.3) within the European Commission's Directorate-General for Mobility and Transport (DG MOVE)
Based in the Brussels Metropolitan Area, he operates as an EU Administrator specializing in aviation policy, airspace management, and maritime or postal transport statistics from his earlier tenure

Vinko Malnar
Member of the Executive Board of the Air Traffic Controllers European Unions Coordination (ATCEUC))
Malnar Vinko is an Air Traffic Controller based in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, employed in tower control operations since 2006. He has been engaged in trade union activities since 2014 and has been a member of the Executive Board of the Air Traffic Controllers European Unions Coordination (ATCEUC) since 2025.
Since 2022, he has served as President of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Air Traffic Controllers Union (BHATCU), and is also a member of the Executive Board of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Air Traffic Controllers Association (BHATCA).
Since 2025, he has been a member of the IFATCA Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Task Force (EDITF), contributing to the development and promotion of initiatives related to inclusiveness, equal representation, and diversity within the air traffic management profession.
He is actively involved in trade union representation at national and international level, with a focus on strengthening social dialogue, improving working conditions, and promoting professional standards within the European air traffic management community. He regularly participates in international conferences, meetings, and workshops within the ATM sector.
His work is guided by a strong commitment to international cooperation, social dialogue, and the protection and advancement of professional standards for air traffic controllers across Europe.

Nikola Cojić
Member of the IFATSEA Executive Board and President of the ATSEP Association of Montenegro
Nikola Cojić is a member of the IFATSEA Executive Board and President of the ATSEP Association of Montenegro. He is actively engaged in international activities related to CNS/ATM development, modernization of air navigation systems, digital transformation and regulatory development in aviation.
Through his work within IFATSEA, he has participated in international working groups and initiatives focused on strengthening the role of the technical domain in air navigation, enhancing international cooperation and positioning the ATSEP profession within wider global aviation processes. He is regarded within IFATSEA as a reliable and productive contributor to the international team which, in 2023, contributed to the reorganization of IFATSEA and helped establish new foundations for the Federation’s further growth, development and stronger global positioning.
In addition to his international engagement, Nikola is actively involved in the development and delivery of professional training programmes for ATSEP personnel, including instructional activities related to technical systems in air navigation.
He also has a background in the military aviation system, which gives him a broader understanding of civil-military coordination, airspace management and the development of modern air navigation systems.
A particular focus of his current international engagement is the preparation of ICAO Air Navigation World 2026 / Global CNS Symposium, the first global ICAO event dedicated to CNS topics in the history of the ICAO.
Through his professional and international work, Nikola continues to contribute to the strengthening of the ATSEP profession and to the development of future-oriented, coordinated and resilient air navigation systems.
